Ep. 136 - Confidently Grounded (w. Naike Saint-Pierre)

Image
Today's episode is a rather heartwarming one. Thing is, when this podcast started, I didn't know what I was getting into. I just simply ran with what I had and made the best of it. Along the journey however, of the many incredible experiences that have come forth, one that has always humbled me is the genuine friendships I've managed to build. Indeed, people who initially started out as perfect strangers, eventually, through the random yet fortunate blessings of The Universe, have become some of the most vocal supporters of this podcast. Which is why I'm particularly thrilled to welcome back my friend, Naike Saint-Pierre , to the podcast. Naike has always stood out to me as a person of amazing energy and wisdom. As a Health Coach, Entrepreneur and Mother, she has always been an example of the many possibilities that are available to us when we align our energy with our purpose. Her passion for smoothies, vegan recipes, crystals and the wonderful gift...

Ep. 135 - Let's Get R.E.A.L (w. Samantha Kris)

Image
Today's episode is another one of those exceptional conversations where the guest and their amazing insight force me to sit down and take notes. Samantha Kris is an international success coach, as well as a successful author and speaker. By her own account, she thrives in helping others take action. It’s what has powered her business, her book , her incredible TEDx talk , her proprietary goal setting methodology, and every opportunity that followed. Indeed, her REAL Goals™ method of goal setting earned her five promotions in five years, enabled her to double her income in that time, and propelled her into the life of an entrepreneur. With so many achievements, one can certainly agree that her approach and ability to help people and projects realize their full potential has shaped her into a true agent for change. Samantha is also the founder of the Bossing Up movement , a community that empowers each other to harness their hunger for more and create opportunities for themselves ...

Ep. 128 - The Choice The Be Fearless (w. Jane Egerton-Idehen)

Image
Growing up in a Third World country but having had the privilege to make a life abroad has taught me a lot about gratitude and resilience. Two very useful tools I believe are essential in anyone's arsenal along their journey. Having also been raised by a pair of solid overachievers who did not shy away from instilling a sense of duty and strive for excellence in their children was something I also benefited from. These are but a few of the elements that resonated with me as I took the time to read up on my next guest and her many incredible achievements. While it is true that circumstances such as financial resources, cultural background, family upbringing all play a significant part in one's journey, I truly believe that the power of the the mind and the choice to elevate one's self beyond these challenges remains the deciding factor between Success and Complacency. From the slums of Lagos, Nigeria,...

Ep. 120 - Freedom To Be Authentic (w. Taïna Jecrois)

Image
I think that in this day and age where so many are trying to broadcast the most pristine image of themselves, being yourself could be regarded as act of bravery. The thing that has always stood out from all the conversations I've had with my next guest is the unwavering sense of clear authenticity that she never fails to express. With an energy aligned with her infectious smile, Taïna Jecrois happens to be one those powerful yet humble souls you'd be foolish not to acknowledge. A fierce entrepreneur and a woman of many talents, Taïna has taken advantage of her extensive experience in the event planning industry,  as she now owns and runs  TJ Events PR ,   a public relations firm specializing in event planning, communication and social media strategy. She is also an active blogger, published author , radio host on Montreal's 102.3FM(Radio Centre-Ville) and talented speaker. On...

Ep. 114 - Artful. Sensual. Powerful. (w. Femme Du Soir)

Image
I believe the term Self-Love gets tossed around too much and way too loosely for my taste.  At the core, what does it truly mean to love,  celebrate, and empower your Self? It takes a special kind of courage to chase your dream. What with all the limiting beliefs, clutching fear, notable uncertainty and debilitating doubt that comes with the crazy idea that the greatness that you seek is on the other end of your own audacious decision...that's a lot to wrestle with. Now, here's a kicker - what if your dream required you to face your own insecurities about yourself? What if your dream was pretty much guaranteed to put you in the direct line of fire as it would surely offend what your cultural upbringing would consider socially acceptable? What if your dream, quite literally, demanded that you shed the layers, and bare it all? These are just some of the incredible topics I had the privilege to discuss...

Ep. 111 - The Magic Happens In The Application (w. Erika Darbouze)

Image
© Ludmillo Pierre (https://www.ludmillopierre.com/) - All Rights Reserved Entrepreneurship has its ups and downs, and among the latter is the isolation. The fact that you put in so many insane hours can get maddening at times. So when someone out there in The Universe drops a comment...sends a DM...an email...or shares a review...Believe me - a guy is quite appreciative. This is, in a nutshell, how I met and got to connect with my next guest, Erika Darbouze , and felt quite taken with her journey both as an Entrepreneur and business-owner. You guys probably think I'm joking when I tell you this but I truly do read all of your comments. And it's throughout our various exchanges, when I came to embrace a fellow achiever's Awesome journey as something that I personally considered near and dear to my heart, that I thought : "Why not have her on the podcast as well...?" ...

Ep. 098 - Truth & Healing (w. Stephanie Delpe)

Image
© Steve Donaldson (IG:  @stevedonaldsonphotography ) - All Rights Reserved We're all trying to achieve a certain level of balance when in comes to the various facets of our lives. Career. Health. Finances. Spirit. Relationships. When it comes that last one, and more specifically, marriage, I'm definitely an advocate for putting in the work towards making the necessary commitment for the long run. But let's not kid ourselves - marriage is not easy. And when things don't work out and two people have to call it quits, there are some very real repercussions, emotional or otherwise that result from that. My guest, Stephanie Delpe, is all but too familiar with this uncomfortable fact.  And it's with a sense of openness, vulnerability and reflection that she bravely chose to return and share her thoughts on this often overlooked truth. On this episode, we discuss cultural u...

Ep. 078 - You Are Your Own Magic (w. Clara Luce Lafond)

Image
© Richard Lecoin (IG : @richardlecoin_photography ) - All Rights Reserved The words we speak in the Universe, the foods we ingest, the thoughts we harbour, the relationships we nurture... I believe that everything is energy. Whatever your personal formula, it is my belied that it's up to you to find the pieces that fit into your individual equation. Your Health, your finances, your family, your friendships, your career...it all intimately connects to reveal and define this beautiful tapestry that is your Self. In that regard, one undeniable thread that often goes neglected or disregarded is the Spiritual. Through personal circumstances, I've had to be reminded that you can't aspire to being whole or complete without minding your relationship with your Spiritual core. This is one of the many reasons why it was such a thrill to have my next guest on the podcast. Many of you already know her quite well from h...

Ep. 035 - Self Care (w. Emmy Georges)

Image
"Take a chance. Why not?" - that was basically the one and only passing thought that drove me towards reaching out and connecting with my next guest on this new and engaging episode. Emmanuelle Georges -or Emmy, for short- is a speaker, blogger, and founder of the Love Your Body Movement in Haiti. A truly heartwarming and powerful endeavour aimed at the empowerment of women on their individual journey towards self-confidence and self-love. Why I wanted to have Emmy as a guest can be summed up by the following post, which I came across on Instagram, and for a reason I still cannot fully explain - it clicked with me. It really did. A post shared by LOVE-YOUR-BODY (@loveyourbodyht) on Apr 27, 2018 at 8:12am PDT After several views, I had to have her on the program. If only to thank her for her vulnerability and courage to speak out on the need for us to recognise these moments where we are not at our 100%. Through workshops, meetups, conversat...

Ep. 034 - Rigorous Truths (w. Emma Elie) *Explicit*

Image
This is going to be interesting.  It's one thing to have lifelong friends on the podcast. It's certainly a different kind of beast when this same person happens to be one of the kindest, generous yet most brutally honest and ferociously upfront individuals around. I keep a close-knit group of people in my circle and Emma has had a prominent place among these singular souls whose friendship, insight and honesty have been a true gift. Mother, Woman, Entrepreneur... Emma has certainly seen her fair share of personal circumstances and has never shied away from dishing out her many doses of somewhat inconvenient yet necessary  and empowering truths ( see here ). I was thrilled to have her on the podcast as we let 20+ years of friendship take over a fun, candid, transparent conversation about marriage, parenting, dating in 2018, womanhood... and so much more. You can connect with Emma via her Instagram feed , or drool over -and place an order- for her tasty...
